The Mashup App allows you to add images and pictures to your personal database. You can save an image from a web page, take a picture from the camera on your device and save it, and pick a picture that you synchronized from your computer from the Photo app and save it into your personal database.

 

Saving an Image from the Web

To save a web image from Safari into your personal database, follow these steps:

 

 

 

  1. Press and hold your finger on the image. You will be prompted to save the image into your device's built-in photo libray or to copy the image.
  2. Tap on "Copy".
  3. Launch The Mashup App and follow the instructions on how-to save web content.

 

Saving a Picture from the Built-in Camera

If your device has a built-in camera, you can use The Mashup App to take a picture and directly save it into your personal database. If you need to rapidly take several pictures, it is best to use the built-in Camera app and then selectively choose the pictures to save into your personal database. But if you want to sequentially take a picture and then save and categorize it, then follow these steps:

 

 

 

  1. Tap on the "Home" tab bar item.
  2. Scroll to the "Create a Mashup Item" Section.
  3. Tap on "Use a picture". You will be prompted to take a picture from your camera.
  4. Tap on "Take a picture".



  5. After taking the picture, The Mashup App will save it into your personal database. This can take several momements. 
  6. Your image will be presented in the Image Editor. 




     

 

 

Saving a Picture from the Built-in Photo app

 

 

  1. Tap on the "Home" tab bar item.
  2. Scroll to the "Create a Mashup Item" Section.
  3. Tap on "Use a picture". You will be prompted to take a picture from your camera.
  4. Tap on "Pick a picture from library".




  5. After selecting the image, The Mashup App will save it into your personal database. This can take several momements.
  6. Your image will be presented in the Image Editor.
