How-To > Audio and Video > How do I add location information to my content?

Search the How-To for entries containing:

You can add location information to any piece of data in your personal database such as web, PDF, image, audio, and video content. By attaching location data to your content, you can better remember where it was created, approved, modified, or destroyed. For example, if location data was annotated to a PDF of the United States Constitution, a student would be able to both read it and also see a map of Philadelphia. A more advanced example is the "location shoot" which is a common activity in all types of filming. Whether it is your local TV reporter in the field, indie film, or Holywood blockbuster... 4 releated pieces of data are usually needed: the script, the completed segment, prelimiary footage known as the "dailies", and of course the location information of the shoot. In this example, the user wants to add location data to a video segment to memorialize the exact location that the segment was filmed in case a reshoot is necessary or a director's cut or documentary about the film is made in the future.
